No extractable data.
On the military discharge indexing, they tell you to index all discharges and enlistments and to mark any other thing as No Extractable Data in step one. But they had two images on one paper, where one was to be indexed and the other one was not. So I did not mark it as no extractabe data and now I have two entries to fill out and but I am only supposed to index one. Do I delete the second entry, or do I mark the second entry as blank?.... Since there is no option of no extractable data.

I worked on these earlier today. I had an image just like the one you mentioned. The left side of the image was a discharge and the right side was the promotion of a soldier to a higher rank. The promotion had NO enlistment or discharge information. So, you would index the information from the discharge and ignore the other document. You would then delete the second entry using the trash can icon. You can either delete these second entries as you go along, or you can delete all the unused entries at the end.

It is helpful if you share the batch number with us so we can look at the image and instructions for your particular project. If you click on Batch at the top left and the click on About Batch, you can copy the Batch ID and share it in your question. Or, you can copy and past the URL for your batch when it is open.

My mom and I just decided to put the entry as blank. But I learned that when you do No, No Extractable Data it deletes the entry, so when one runs into that problem again you just delete the entry that they don't want you to index (if you have one picture that gets indexed and another picture that doesn't get indexed on the same page).
