numbers in the name field

In indexing these birth certificates, the child has '3rd' after his name and the father has '2nd' after his name. You can't type a number in the name field. Would I type 'Third" and 'Second' after the names in those fields?

i get “Access Restricted” when I try to opponent your batch. However, generally, unless there is a Suffix Field or a Titles and Terms Field, where those “suffixes” or “titles” could go, we don’t Index them. We don’t put them with the Surname or Given Names. Here below is some info on Term and Titles from the Indexing Help center.

How do I index name titles or terms?

Article Id: 1609, Published November 23, 2020 Titles and terms can be a bit confusing to run into while indexing. Some examples of these instances include:

    • Titles: Jr., Sr., Mrs., Señor, Señora, Don, Doña, Captain, Dr., and so on.
    • Terms: Not named, stillborn, twin, infant, and so on. Note: In most projects, “unknown” is marked as a blank field.

The general rule is to not type them into the Given Name or in the Surname fields. Type the title or term in the Titles and Terms field for that record.

Here are some additional guides to keep in mind:

    • Occupations are not indexed in the Titles and Terms field unless it is used as a preface to the name, such as “Dr. Brown.”
    • If no Titles and Terms field is included in the batch, do not include them.
    • Type what is written, including hyphens and apostrophes, but leave out periods, commas, and semicolons.
    • If Mrs. is used before a male name, such as “Mrs. Jason Jones,” index as:

    Titles and Terms: Mrs

    Given Name: Jason

    Surname: Jones

    • If two titles or terms are given, such as “Mr. Jr. Jones,” enter both titles and terms with no punctuation and a space between, such as:

    Titles and Terms: Mr Jr

    Surname: Jones
