What's the new idea that is being considered for temple scheduling, completion, & recording?

Would someone please explain to me what is being considered for how temple ordinances are scheduled, completed, and recorded? I missed the email about it and my spouse did the survey. But I couldn't understand what he said about it. It sounded like a mess to me.

I tried to find a "Temple Ordinances" catagory to post in. Is there one, or something like unto it?
