Yes, March would be the 1st month before 1752 and the 6th month would be August. You may also see September, October, November, and December referred to as 7ber, 8ber, 9ber, and 10ber, respectively, because they are the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th months of the Julian calendar in use at the time.
