Is there a phone number I can call to have an indexing specialist help me with a batch.

    You can click on the question mark on the top of this page and then click Contact Us for a list of phone numbers. Or, you can share your batch by clicking on the third icon from the right in the horizontal toolbar. Then copy and paste the link and or batch code with your question either here or in the Indexing Chat group. There are lots of people willing to help with indexing questions or just to go over a batch in case an indexer or reviewer wants a second set of eyes on something!

    I'm not sure what you mean about ordering the familysearch program. To index or create a family tree, you need to visit www.familysearch.org and possibly set up an account if you don't have one.

    Then you can choose FamilyTree to create your tree, or you can choose Get Involved which has a drop down menu for indexing or other opportunities like reviewing names.
