Hi! On image 1, it doesn't mention whether or not it is a single or multiple birth, but it says it is the 1st and only living child, and the twin/triplet is crossed out, so is it ok to assume in this case that it is a single birth, or should I still mark it blank?

Generally speaking, with these records, if it were a multiple birth they would either circle Twin or Triplet or if the word was not typed in the form, they write the word in the box and then indicate in which order that particular child was born. On Image 1 of your batch, it appears that they have crossed out the words Twin and Triplet, which would lead me to believe it was a single birth, even though they have written First in the adjacent box. Thanks for helping with this project!

I guess I can't be positive though because it could've been a multiple birth and this child was the only one that survived...
