Are you talking about an indexing project here? If so, maybe it would be better to place your post in the Indexing section of "Ideas". Indexers familiar with this specific project, or with general project instructions / advice on instances of this nature, should be able to provide a response.

Hi @HeapKennyMarion1 . Mrs is a Prefix (comes before a name). A Suffix comes after a name, for example Jr. For information on indexing names like Mrs Fred Jones (with or without a Prefix Field to index the “Mrs”) see the General Indexing Guidelines for the Project you referenced. You should find a section similar to the following. I’ve truncated it to show only the part pertinent to your question. You may not be comfortable with the guidance when there is no Prefix Field (the 2nd paragraph) but here it is.
How to Index Individuals Whose Names Were Not Fully Recorded
o If “Mrs” was used before a name typically used for males, such as in Mrs. Jason Jones, type Mrs in the Prefix field, if provided. In this example, type Jason in the Given Names field and Jones in the Surname field.
If a Prefix field is not available, ignore the “Mrs,” and type the name in the corresponding name fields for the woman. For the example above, you would still type Jason in the Given Names field and Jones in the Surname field.
