I am indexing US, Georgia-Military Discharge Records, 1890-1966 [Part . . . {MSTS-BJ9}]
When I try to submit batch, it says I must run Quality Control. When I do that it says there are 2312 issues remaining. It also says that the service number is a required field. I only had 5 images in this batch (that I could ascertain). Some of these records did not have a service number. Need help. Not sure what I must be doing incorrectly.

Each image has a preset number of entries. When you have filled in all the information provided, go to the trashcan icon which is the 8th icon from the right. Click on it and it gives you 2 options. Click on All blank entries and click delete. Now you should only have the entries you completed and a submit button after your last entry.
I noticed you have Carl Theodore Stoval (from image 1) for entry 2 and entry 3. Chose the most complete entry and using the trashcan icon delete the other one. Because you have partially filled one in, you will need to first delete or put blanks where you have duplicate information. Then click on the trashcan, click on current entry, click delete.
Ask again if those instructions were too confusing.

It's an unusual name for sure...but I don't know of any Horlachers in my family that have that first name. But now I'm curious!
By the way, have you joined the Indexing Group? They are super helpful and deal primarily with indexing questions. If you go to GROUPS on the left and scroll down to the last box INDEXING and click on it, you should see a JOIN button somewhere. It might be under the little gear in the top right corner. It's a great place to get answers.
Happy Indexing!!!

Thank you so much for your help! I did 2 more batches successfully, following your helpful instructions. 😊
I'm sure there is probably no connection but will mention it just the same. I knew a young lady by the name of Cecilee Horlacher who played soccer at a community college here in Kansas.
