Currently, clicking on a link in a post or comment takes us to that link--but in the same tab, rather than by opening a new tab. This means we lose the screen we're on and anything we've written that hasn't been saved yet.

    Charlotte

    FYI

Regarding the "Computer' Application version of 'FamilySearch' ...

'Yes', you CAN definitely open a 'Post' in a New, either, 'Tab' or 'Window'; &, keep the original 'in situ' ...

You just need to 'Select' the "Other" side "Button" of a " Mouse" (and, "Mouse" 'Pad') ...

Open in a NEW Tab or Window _ 0.jpg

    And ...

    That said ...

You can ALSO open "Comments" in EXACTLY the SAME manner; as, the above, you just need to select the 'Date'/'Time' of the "Comment" (ie. Under the 'Contact Name' of the User/Patron).

Regarding the "Mobile" Application version of 'FamilySearch' ...

I have never tried under "Mobile" Application version.

    I hope this helps.

    Brett
