DISCOVERY EMAILS ARE ANNOYING WHEN . . .
its not really a Discovery since I had already attached it to my ancestors. Now, if you emailed hints occassionally as a compaign, that would be super helpful and much appreciated. I am now ignoring all of your campaign emails. I don't think that result was your goal. I hope you can modify the programming for the campaigns.
Thank you.

The majority of the people getting the discovery emails are not the people who attached the hint/image, etc. You can just ignore the email if you don't think it applies to you.

At least, you received a response, to your post ...
[ all-be-it, from a "Support" person in 'FamilySearch' ... ]
That is better than I have ...
I have NOT received ANY response, to my post, on a similar vein, of x3 Days prior ...

Campaign. Memorial (ie. My Relatives’ Headstones.). Question: WHY, does this Campaign, SEND us, "Memorials", that are ALREADY attached to our Ancestors, in fact, in MANY cases, those that WE, ourselves, have attached?

Question:
WHY, does this Campaign, SEND us "Memorials" (ie. My Relatives’ Headstones.), that are ALREADY attached, to our Ancestors, in fact, in MANY cases, those that WE, ourselves, attached?

Please advise.
.
As, sending us (personally), through "Notifications" (ie. "Discoveries") in 'FamilySearch', such "Memorials" (ie. 'Headstones'), that are ALREADY attached, to our Ancestors; and, especially, those that WE, ourselves, attached, is REDUNDANT; and, somewhat, demeaning.
.
You NEED to IMMEDIATELY address/fix your Campaign of "Memorials" (ie. My Relatives’ Headstones.).
.
You NEED to, "Filter" OUT, of your Campaign of, "Memorials" (ie. My Relatives’ Headstones.), SUCH "Memorials" (ie. 'Headstones'), that are ALREADY attached, to our Ancestors; especially, those that WE, ourselves, attached.

'Thank You' in advance.

FYI
.
Unfortunately ...
.
"Campaigns" in 'FamilySearch' are SIMPLY to ENGERNDER participation in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', by the LESS frequent Users/Patrons, rather than HELP the MORE frequent Users/Patrons.
.
"Campaigns" in 'FamilySearch' are SIMPLY to TARGETED towards participation in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', nothing more, nothing less ...
.
"Campaigns" in 'FamilySearch' are NOT substantial (for want of a better word...) "Programmes" (or, "Research Helps"), to HELP the experienced Users/Patrons with their Genealogical/Family History research.
.
"Campaigns" in 'FamilySearch' are SIMPLY (for want of a better word...) "Programmes" (or, "Research Helps"), to ENGAGE the inexperienced Users/Patrons with DOING their Genealogical/Family History research.
.
'FamilySearch', DOES NOT have, either, the 'Time'; or, the resources (as the resources are vey limited), to MAKE the "Campaigns" in 'FamilySearch', more solid; more specific; adjustable to suit individual Users/Patrons needs or preferences; or, the like.
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
Even, knowing the aforementioned ...
.
I still would like, 'FamilySearch', to make the "Campaigns", to be somewhat more "Selective"; as, to who they "Send" the "E-mails" to ...
.
I would NOT have thought that such would be too taxing, while the "Campaign" was a "Work in Progress" ...
[ Or, be a 'wayward' use of limited resources; as, the "Campaigns" are being "Worked On" ... ]
.
Hence, my post ...
.
Furthermore ...
.
As 'Amy' has suggested ...
.
MANY User/Patrons SIMPLY "Ignore" the 'Discovery' "Notifications" (or, even, "E-mails") from the various "Campaigns".
.
"Ignoring" the the 'Discovery' "Notifications" (or, even, "E-mails") from the various "Campaigns", is what many experienced Users/Patrons so - of course; as, long as they are 'vigilant' for the "Odd" GOOD/Useful "Campaign" - I have found the "Odd" one or two.
.
And, MANY other User/Patrons SIMPLY "Turn Off" the "E-mails" from the various "Campaigns"; whereas, I am NOT certain, if such, ALSO "Turns Off" the 'Discovery' "Notifications" from the various "Campaigns" - I have NOT tried that - I WANT to receive ALL such "Campaigns", regardless - just on the 'off chance'.
.
The "Downside" of "Turning Off" the notifications from the various "Campaigns" (or, going 'cold turkey') is that, you can MISS the "Odd" GOOD/Useful "Campaign".
.
Just my thoughts.

I too have turned off all notifications rather than have "poor thoughts" about these campaigns and their developers.
