This would be a great feature... To search for a person within YOUR tree only! Some inherent functionality/logic already exists because FamilySearch already "chases" your tree in order to present Landscape/Portrait/Tree views. And regarding the concern about taking X amount of time, the feature could prompt you to do it one or two generations at a time after the first 3 generations (which already does for Landscape/Portrait/Tree views).

The trouble with this (extremely frequent) request in a collaborative tree like FS's is that the system has no easy way to determine or delimit which parts of it qualify as "your tree".
