FamilySearch is AMAZING

When I attended BYU in 2000 I took a beginner family history course from Brother Paul Smart. We had a 40 hour research project we had to complete over the semester. I chose to research a brick wall great grandfather in England born in the 1860s. I think I got to about hour 38 before I found him/confirmed it was him. If I was to undertake that same research now. Between the resources in FamilySearch and Ancestry.co.uk I would need between 7-13 minutes in front of a computer with internet.

I've served in Family History Centres, as Family History Centre Director, I've taken many research trips and Family History research just keeps getting better and "easier".

It is amazing what is conceived and made possible. I want to thank and hug every person who does such great work. I can't so I thought I'd at least try and let you know how much I appreciate the hours and brain power that goes into this great work.

Thank you so very much!!
