What have they done to the FamilySearch site?!?
i know this isn’t the “complaint department” but I know I’ll get some sort of response from the wonderful folks here 😃
I CANT be the ONLY one who is MORE than upset about the site? Who is the genius that made this decision? It’s practically UNUSABLE!!!! Why did they change it to that ridiculous format or whatever it’s called? It deceptively appears to be the good Ole regular FS when you start out but the second you go to view a tree from a historical record it throws you into some ridiculous screen where NOTHING makes sense anymore !!! Put it back the way it was PLEASE!!!! I can’t use this ... I’ve tried several different times throughout the day today and I get flustered and go to Ancestry and MyHeritage ... what were you thinking!!? I really don’t like this Change. No sir ree... not one little bit ☹️😖😠😡🤯

Oh ...
I just had a thought ...
MAYBE ... 'FamilySearch' is "Testing" some "Change"; but,
that "Change" has ONLY been applied to a CERATIN section of Users/Patrons
[ So far ... ie. just "Testing" the waters, so to speak ... ]
That DOES happen, by "Stealth" ... we are NOT always told of such ...
We only know of such, when Users/Patrons from that CERTAIN section complain.

i’m wondering if your tree view is set to fan chart or descendancy in which case you would just change it back ro landscape or portrait at the top left of the screen. Once it is changed to a different view type it stays that way until you change it. look

That look was an accident and seems rude sorry. I was goingvto say look at the top left when you are on tree and be sure its landscape. Descendancy can look very confusing

Try a different device just to see if it is something weird on your device.

also make sure its set to one of the "pedigree" views
but if you havent used the "descendants" view before - that is a great thing to analyze and get to know. It can be very useful.
