I found another first name for my great grandfather on a different tree. The tree has the names that

    Do you mean that, you have found your Great Grandfather that ALREADY exist in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; and, want to add that individual/person to your "Ancestral" lines in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?

    .

    OR, do you mean that, you have found, ANOTHER version, being a "Duplicate", of your Great Grandfather, that ALSO exits in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?

    .

    Please advise ...

    .

    Adding an individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' to one's "Ancestral" lines in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is easy.

    .

    Whereas ...

    .

    "Merging"/"Combining" individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is MUCH more COMPLEX.

    I figured out by following and reading the information closely on screen to compare different entries and then could merge the parts together.
