Were are the Records to be found?
My Grandmother came from Galicia Austria , was born ca. 1886 a town named Brusno, she emigrated to Denmark with her sister which i have, but 3 other family members who's names i don't know emigrated to the United States (family lore)
I have seen the films that Family Search have (ordered In) the family is not listed there.
Parents are Michael Kowalczuk and Rosalia Sull - sisters were Anna and Maria
i have looked for years and never found any records of their birth.
Any help will be appreciated - i don't read Polish, but can make out Latin.

You might find some help in the Wiki. I believe there are some research guidance to be found there. So do a search in the Wiki for immigration to the United States. You'll have to have more specific information than you have noted in your question. Approximate time of immigration, from what country, specific names....and other relevant information. We also have an Austro-Hungarian group that you can search on the main community page and join, if that is the area that they came from. Good Luck, Sister Whicker.
