Due to the nature of your 'Question' ...
Which I believe, most likely relating to "Indexing" ...
I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, to the 'Group' being "Indexing Chat", in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.

Yeh - I didnt consider the fact that your question was based on an indexing page.
I doubt there is a way to correct the slant just relying on the indexing app by itself.
when you have questions about indexing it is best to post directly to the indexing chat.
Let us know context of your question.
Thanks

There is no way to adjust either the image or the ruler in indexing.

This is a feature that I and I think @J C Bingham have asked for (for a while). I think that it is a very important capability to have. Without it, much frustration and more errors ensue. Some projects have this issue more than others, making them a pain to index or review. However, I think that with the new image viewer this feature could be closer to realization. The way it could work is that you draw a line that you want to be horizontal (say along one of the lines in a form), and the image is corrected/registered/rotated to make that line horizontal. Microsoft’s 3D Paint has this feature and it works in the blink of an eye. @Heather R Jacobs please pass on this feedback to the developers. I hope that we see this soon.
