What specific area are you referring to when you say "transfer the document to FamilySearch"?

Are you referring to Family Seach Memories?

and are you linking it to a specific person in FamilySearchb FamilyTree?

There are millions of user of FamilySearch - and the FamilySearch Family Tree is a collaborative database system that we all share (we do not have private databases like Ancestry does - other than data for living persons) - and most items uploaded would be available for them to see - - UNLESS it is information for a living person - or doccuments linked to a living person - or documents makred as "private"

Question: WHAT do you mean by "... transfer a document to family search"?

WHAT sort of "Document"; and, to WHAT "Part" of 'FamilySearch'.

There are a number of "Parts" to 'FamilySearch'.

    Are you looking for:

    (1)  a "Record" of an Ancestor from the many Records from around the World; or,

    (2)  an Ancestor of yours in "Family Tree",

    Parts in 'FamilySearch'.

You should go to the individual named in the document and upload it under Memories - Documents. Then you can open the document and tag the individuals who appear in it so that it can be accessed from their pages.
