His mother was Mahalya J Hawkins born 1835 GA/ 1896 Texas or LA. Father Benjamin Fredrick Curry born 1823GA/ died in 1911 Brown, Brownsville, Texas. Any information that you can share. Thanks

Either in Polk co or Tyler Co Texas. Towns in or around Big Sandy, Warren, Woodville, Kirby Lumber Co was a big timber co. In that area. The two county seats were Livingston, and Woodville Texas. I have searched for years =0 results.

Would you please let me know where you found Mahaly's last name to be Hawkins? As near as I can tell, they had three children, Eugenia, James and John. I am descended from James although he also sometimes went by the name of John. Very confusing.
