What does this record say?
Hi Liv, I have recently broken through an brick wall and found my 5th great-grandfather, Hans Nilsson. All of the household examination records say that he was born in 1726 in By, Varmland, Sweden. This is the only birth and christening record in By, in 1726 that could possibly be him. His father's name is Nils. That is all we know. The record is in the Sweden, Church Records, 1451-1943. Varmland, By, births, 1716-1727 (C:2), image 46, rightside, last record.
What I think it says is.
6 February, (?), possibly christening, soldier, (?)
(?), Is this next word the babies name?, is it Hans?, (?)
Father- Niels (Larson?), (?) (?) soldier
from ?
Witnesses- Margarita (?) from (?), Margarita
