This is a question from my friend to me, and I was wondering if the software (if possibly available) is created. I’m interested in Old Russian letters and hand written documents.

    That would be pretty cool.

Are you aware of any generally available software that can translate any other language?

Most old documens are so peppered with extraneous marks, flaws, spots, imperfections that its virually impossible to automate

But Id be interested to hear what other feedback you may get.

I am aware, in very general terms, of the platform Transkribus, which The National Archives, UK was trialling a couple of years ago.

I have never personally used this platform.
