Community Help button
When a patron goes to Indexing Overview in FamilySearch or anywhere in the Indexing portal - there is a Green Community Help button that allows them to get to Communities. I noticed that this button is not available in the other groups such as FamilyTree or Historical Records. Perhaps this might be a good addition to the Overview pages to help our patrons find Communities faster and easier?

sounds like a good idea - though I havent see the precise thing you mention
In the old community - it was a bit annoying that so many Indexing questions - got asked in the "General Questions" area - - I hope the new systems makes it much easier for indexing question to go directly to the Indexing Chat.

Here is a sample in Web Indexing of the Community Help button I am talking about.

Sorry I misread your original post the first time through. I agree that a community help button in other areas of FamilySearch would be a great addition to those areas, perhaps it would help channel Family Tree and research questions to the proper group if it opened a page that listed those groups and did not list groups like How To Use FamilySearch Community and Indexing Chat.

@Dennis J Yancey One can only hope that this new community will be better at directing the help seekers to the appropriate place to pose their questions. Unfortunately after experiencing nearly a week of it my hopes for that are fading.
The Community Help buttons on the web indexing home page and in the Indexing Tool have been in place for several months, I do not recall exactly when they first appeared, but it seems it was no later that October of last year and may have been earlier. I know that their presence did not stop the posting of Indexing questions in the General Questions area of the old community and I am not even sure that their presence reduced the frequency of Indexing questions in the General Questions area by much. I know that @Melissa S Himes tried to field the indexing questions posted there and redirect those posting them to Indexing Chat, she might have a better idea of how effective they were in reducing the frequency.
