Multiple FS accounts and how they react with comunity - SECURITY ISSUE!
I have multiple FS accounts
when I change my account and then go to the community - it is not changing the account as I pass to the Community.
This seems like a significant security issue

Even worse, when my husband goes from his FamilySearch account to community he sees my groups & my avatar, but his name displays

This could be a considered a serious security breach.

Note this is not just an issue with people who have multiple accounts
it is an issue with anyone using a computer that is also used by others - where both users access FamilySearch.
When you go from FamilySearch to Community - it is not currently validating that the Community logon user matches the Main Logon user.
This is a serious flaw.
especially for work done on a public computer - or especially a Family History Center Computer.
PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

I never understood how being timed-out worked on the recently replaced Community - I was kept logged in for far longer than when using the main FamilySearch sites (FS & FT). I logged out completely earlier today, but there was no need to log back in when I returned here just now.

I think thats to alleviate somewhat the issue with the problematic multi user issue.

related to this issue is the fact that whenevr you get an email notification or are trying ot hyperlink to something
it will often error out - if the email link is expecting one user id and the user id actually logged on is a differnet one.
In the old world it forced a login (or did an automated one behidn the scenes) - in many cases now it gives an weird message, or even at times displays other people's info.

can we get an update on what is being dfcone to resolve this troublesome issue?

'Heads-Up' ...
.
You are NOT alone ...
.
Been there, done that ...
Still do ...
.
I was having this problem/issue in, not only, the OLD "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; but. also in 'FamilySearch' in general.
.
One as a Member of the Church, and, one I created a few Years ago; before, we could NOT Display "Temple" Work, for "Show and Tell", for non-member Relative (but, also, to assist non-member Users/Patrons - ie. 'see' what they 'see'). Now, the latter, is purely for assist non-member Users/Patrons - ie. 'see' what they 'see'.
.
They were separate and distinctly different "E-mail" addresses; but, BOTH, "Aliases" of a 'Primary' "Email" address - funny thing is, there are NO problems/issues there, works just fine.
.
But ...
That said ...
.
There WAS a MINOR a problem/issue with, BOTH, my 'Primary' "Email" address; and, my 'Alias' "E-mail" address for my 'FamilySearch' Account (AND, "Community.FamilySearch" Forum) - which I might ADD was exacerbated through OLD "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
.
Whereas ...
.
Now, with the NEW "Vanilla" 'Platform, I am getting MANY more "Email" from/through the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum INCORRECTLY to my 'Primary' "Email" address, rather than CORRECTLY through my 'Alias' "E-mail" address for my 'FamilySearch' Account (AND, "Community.FamilySearch" Forum).
.
VERY (oops, EXTREMLELY) confusing ...
.
I never know where to look next ...
.
My 'Primary' "Email" address should NOT even be registering ME in 'FamilySearch' (as, a User/Patron) ...
.
Just my experience ...
