My sister and i realized that there are two records for her (she is living). We are trying to merge the two records but can't seem to be able to do so. Can you help us??
As long as relatives are living they are assigned different Ancestral File Numbers. I have run into to this same issue for all of my living relatives. It is to protect the privacy of those living. What one person is willing to share is not always the same for another person. After my mother passed I could then merge her file with the one I had (there were a few others to do from other family members). Hope this helps.
