A friend who is a Family History Center Leader in another stake told me that she receives information and training from her Area Advisors. How do I find out how to contact my Area Advisors?

Area Temple & Family History Consultants are called by the Area Seventy for your area. Not all areas have an Area Temple & Family History Consultant called. Your Stake priesthood leaders should know who they are if someone has been called. We recommend you contact your stake priesthood leader and ask them to share the contact information with you if they have been called.

Area Temple & Family History Consultants have had a name change. They are now called Multi-Stake Temple and Family History Consultants. You can determine who they are using the "Area Temple and Family History Network" found at https://www.familysearch.org/help/helper/planner/workwith. This network shows three levels. If you are a ward Temple and Family History Consultant, it will show the Stake Temple and Family History Consultant. If you are a Stake Temple and Family History Consultant, it will show you the Ward Multi-Stake Temple and Family History Consultants.

I cannot see priesthood leaders through this network. The stake priesthood leaders have access to the Multi-Stake Temple and Family History Consultants through CDOL. The holder of the multi-stake temple and family history calling is shown under the Area Family History Council in the Area Coordinating Council.
