I haven't been able to find my great-grandmother's maiden name. How do I enter her name?

Enter the first name, leave the last name blank.

Why would I leave the last name blank if I know it? It could open another research portal.

Leave the last name blank in Vitals because it's a lot less confusing that way: if everyone else in a tree is shown by maiden name, how do you tell that this one isn't?

Put the known (married) surname as an alternate name under Other Information.
