Have you tried clicking on the link again this morning? I wonder if it was a glitch?
I clicked on the film number and I seem to be able to see images.

.
I am aware that you a non-member; whereas, I am a Member of the Church; but, through the "Web" version and NOT the "Mobile" Application, I get the SAME as you - And, this is more than a day later.
.
I am not totally certain why 'Carolyn' is getting what she is; but, I suspect that the fact that she is part of "FamilySearch" (and, depending on her "Level" of access; and, where she is working at the time, whether from Home or "FamilySearch") that has a significant bearing on why 'Carolyn' is seeing the Image(s); whereas, we CANNOT.
.
That is my take on it ...
.
'Food for thought'.
.
'Carolyn' what do you think?
.
Using the latest version of 'Google' "Chrome" with "Windows 10".

Brett
.
ps: This sort of think has happened before in post in the "FamilySearch" ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum; where, 'Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives" could not duplicate the problem/issue due to their level and location of access.

I was working from home, with my employee computer, at the time that I brought up that image. I was using Chrome and Windows 10.

Technically this group is just for feedback about the Community itself, so I will move this into the General Questions group. You can also post this type of thing over in our Get Satisfaction community, which Brett mentioned, and technically is for people to make suggestions for changes, but sometimes people there have good insight about problems like this, which is shown by Brett's comment above. To get there, there's a Feedback button at the bottom of the main FamilySearch.org pages that will take you there. Click Feedback then click "Make a Suggestion." The other option is also one you can use, to "Report a Problem." That creates a case that goes to our Support teams.
If you give me the link for how to get there I can check to see if I see the images too. But I've not heard of collections that show based on our employee designation. Not that that means much, there's a lot I haven't heard of.

Ok, I don't see the image on the record but I was able to get to what Carolyn saw. Here's what I did:
- From the record page here, I clicked on the film # and got to this page
- I clicked on a name (you can click on any name).
- I saw this message in place of where the image thumbnail would otherwise go: "This record came from this set of images. You will need to look through several images to find this record. Browse the film." There was no thumbnail image area.
- I clicked on the Browse the Film link, and it took me to the film with all of the images, the screen shot that Carolyn shared. From there you can scroll through to try to find the image. The Reference ID 156 might be helpful as you look for the image.
My guess is that the record you were looking at shouldn't have the thumbnail at all. None of the other names that I looked at on that film have the thumbnail area. When we did indexing work before computers, (it was called extraction back then) they were looking at the microfilm and entering the names on paper. So the records didn't match up to the images when they digitized the images, but they try to link to the films instead. You might report this problem to Support (the Feedback button I mentioned earlier, using the Problem option), to let them know the thumbnail shouldn't be there, but they should link to the film instead. Something else weird about this record, the place name of Vinton, OH shows when you're looking at the search results page, but it doesn't show when you're in the record itself.

It is most likely that you and 'Carolyn' can see those "Thumb Nail" images; because, of your ACCESS Levels being part of "FamilySearch".
.
Whereas, both, X24mom; and, myself, without such "High" level of Access, CANNOT; and, ONLY get what X24mon has provided in the Images in this post.
.
NOTHING that we do will display any Image, not even the "Thumb Nail" Images.
.
I even tried accessing the Record through MY Laptop computer at a "Family History Centre", to no avail.
.
Plus, I even tried accessing the Record through a (FHC) Computer at a "Family History Centre", to no avail.
.
There is a DEFINITELY a problem/issue.

Sorry, I may not have explained myself very well. I see the exact same thing both you @X24mom X24mom and @Brett . see in those first screen shots posted--I see the broken image where the image thumbnail should be when looking at the record itself.
I had to click around a bunch to see what Carolyn saw. The steps I used to click around to see the full film thumbnails are in my previous post. See if you can follow those steps and then tell me if you can get there. I just added a little bit of information to the steps to hopefully make them easier to follow.

I never did hear back on this one - did my last couple posts make sense, @X24mom X24mom? I'm curious if you were able to follow the steps above.

Which step did you get those messages on?

I got them both from your step one links in order. But I just tried again and your links took me to the corresponding pages.

i noticed the “,VINTON OHIO” as well (in all caps) which I thought was strange cause the other ones say Zaleski, Vinton, Ohio. But all the records state Vinton County either at the top of the inex or within the index for the birth county, whoever was entering this info had a hotrible habit of using “ “ in too many columns 😂

Oh good! So have you been able to find the image you were looking for?
