FYI
.
Please be aware that:
(1) there are many 'competing' priorities in, the various Parts, of 'FamilySearch'; and,
(2) there are 'limited' (ie. 'funds') resources available to 'FamilySearch'.
.
'FamilySearch' is a FREE website.
.
The Church, "Create"; and, "Maintains", 'FamilySearch'.
.
Church 'Funds' are used for MANY things, 'FamilySearch' is a VERY "Small" part of that.
.
Just my thoughts ...
.
'FamilySearch' really does not have the "Resources" available to spend on the likes of what you request.
.
Although, it would be nice/fun, for such that you request, such would be EXTREMELY 'low' in the scheme of the many 'competing' priorities in 'FamilySearch', there are many "Other" MORE pressing features/facilities/functions that NEED, creating/implementing; or, maintaining; or, addressing/fixing.
.
I am sorry to be the 'naysayer' ...
.
But ...
That said ...
.
'FamilySearch' monitors this (New) "IDEAS" 'Feedback' Forum.
.
And, 'FamilySearch' may even be already considering such as you request.
.
You never know, stranger things have happened ...
.
Good Luck, with your request.

Honestly, this is a really good idea. If there were a few badges and better stats, I would be a lot more motivated. It isn't just about duty, but it can also be about fun AND getting more people to index, and index more often. I am a community manager by trade, and you would be surprised how motivating little digital things are. I think these kinds of things shouldn't be low priority, but could be huge in forwarding the work of God.

You can see some recent projects you have worked on in the progress section of the Web Indexing page. Just click the box that says projects. It lists the last five projects, how many records you have indexed, and the last day you submitted something.

I just found it and I was amazed at the number! Thanks for the direction - you know, sometimes we just don't click on all the buttons available!
