TO AVOID: Ordinances being done out of order OR duplicated
When requesting Ordinances, the program should be changed so that a person can only request B & C at one time; then I & E at one time: cannot request SS or SP only if previous ordinances done. The program should block you from requesting them all at once to avoid some being done ahead of when they should be, example SS when not both parties have had all their B,C, I and E done.
Secondly, you should not be able to request any if there are duplicate individuals in the system and they have not been merged.

The system is not perfect but it does work. When going to the temple the workers check to see on the card that the dates for B, I, and E are done before you do the next ordinance so there is a system for that. And you are allowed to do some sealing ordinances our of order, there is a help article that tells you the reasons behind why it is allowed. The system alerts you to check duplicates before reserving if it finds them but the computer is only so good at finding them. It is up to volunteers to check and double check temple names to not repeat temple work.

The reason that you do not want to limit what a person can print out as far as ordinances is this: In one day you could have a child do a baptism/confirmation and then the parent go and do the initiatory and maybe even the endowment in the same trip. Or I have often done an initiatory, endowment and sealing all at one go. I would need to print each of the ordinances to do so.

There could however be a point where you acknowledge that the other ordinances are being performed first. Like maybe a popup that says that the other spouse's ordinances have not been completed and then you could check a box that you will complete them before the sealing is done. Or you can unselect that ordinance if you are not ready to do that yet.
