Idea added/confirmed needs confirmation to the user

When submitting an idea via this form, when I clicked Confirm, it simply returned me to the page. A message at the top of the then appearing page (even if a temp message) needs to confirm to ME that the idea/message was successfully submitted...or that a correction of requirements needs to be addressed...or that an error occurred.

If you are worried your comments might be lost after clicking on "Confirm" (due to being "timed-out", for example) I would copy / paste the text elsewhere first. I have not noticed a problem with text disappearing, so haven't found any need of the confirmation message you are requesting. One thing that can disappear (if you click on "Confirm" too quickly) is any image you have added to your post. I usually wait for a minute to ensure my image "sticks", as I have had to reattach images that disappear (after clicking on "Confirm") on a few occasions.

Incidentally, I don't know if you have ever posted to the FamilySearch "Blog". Now that really is an awkward process, because ones comments always disappear after posting (to be "moderated") and it might make a day or two before they reappear - or not reappear at all!
