On "Changes" page that lists the changes made to a record, could the former entry be shown, please?

I've seen this requested many times over the last couple of years and unfortunately it still hasn't happened. The definition of a change is altering an original value into a new value. So how in the world do you document a change event without identifying both the before and after?
There are a LOT of weaknesses (and in some cases errors) in the way the Change History logs are maintained. For example, if a person with their PID is shown in a change event, and then later on that PID gets merged with another and the name changed, all of the previous change events in the change list will be altered to show the newest values on that person (which is NOT the record that had the original change)! So the original values for the person's name and PID when an actual change was made is NEVER maintained!
Fortunately (for myself anyway), anytime I change a record in the FSFT, I then sync it down to my Ancestral Quest database. Then when I want to see what subsequent changes may have appeared, I simply run the compare function in my AQ tool while showing the value in my AQ database next to the corresponding one in the FSFT database. This is orders of magnitude EASIER than using the very cryptic (and frequently inconsistent) Change History logs.
