By city or cemetery

Since FS is emailing me to show headstones of ancestors who died this month, I’d like to suggest a more useful application of that technology. Perhaps combined with your amazing mapping, I’d love to be able to have a place on the website or app that I can put the city or cemetery I’m traveling to and have a list of my own ancestors buried there pop up. For example, if I were on a road trip going through Beaver, Utah I could put in Beaver and then take a stop to visit my ancestors there. That would be amazing all over the world and I think you already have the data and capability to do it.

This feature already exists in the FamilySearch Family Tree app. In the menu, select "Map My Ancestors". Then using the magnifying glass, enter in the place. You will get a list of your relatives with vital events in that location.

Until such a capability might be added by FS to the normal web interface, you can use the FSFT app as Amy suggests, or if you have a PC/Mac based certified tool such as RootsMagic or Ancestral Quest where you track all of your person records in the FSFT via links, setting up a list sorted by burial location is extremely simple.
