Form Flow

I haven't been indexing for very long, but it seems like the document formats in each batch are quite consistent. Currently, I'm doing birth certificates from Wisconsin and notice that:

There is a form number, meaning, it's a standardized form.

Propose: Create a form profile. This profile will (if the user wishes to use the profile) automatically scroll the document to a predetermined xy location when the user selects a corresponding field. Also possible is to add a visual aid around the xy position as defined in the form profile. It would not take long to identify the xy position of desired information on a standardized form.

Also useful would be for entry fields to automatically scroll so that there are always 3 empty fields shown on the screen so I can spy which fields are coming next.

The old indexing program used to have the "form profile" feature you are talking about! I really liked it because it helped guide my eye as I was working on images. Sometimes it even saved me the trouble of having to click and drag around large or zoomed-in images. I would love for FS to bring that back one of these days!
