Question for LDS Researchers on Mormon Prophets
I was using RelativeFinder and was surprised to see that I am related to 16 out of 17 Prophets/Presidents of the LDS Church. The only one I am not related to is the current one, Russell Nelson, and he turns out to be related to my cousin who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970 (making him a complex in-law of sorts).
I'm not Mormon, but I'm very curious if there is any special significance to this. I have been interested in Prophecy (Future Prediction) for many years, and have written about it, but I never knew I was related to so many Prophets.
My ancient relatives in Wales were named Meilyr, and described as being like Merlin (known for his wizardry and prophecy). They also were considered great Bards in the 12th Century.
Are there any clues that might be available?

In a relatively small, interconnected and isolated population such as the original members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ("Mormons") who went to Utah, it is to be expected that if you are related to one person, you'll be related to most or all of the group.
Being related to many famous leaders of the LDS Church is probably quite common if you have an ancestor or relative who converted to their faith.

The prophet told us not to use mormon or lds.
