Memories as sources
It would be great if a Memories could be added as sources.
It is easy to add a document to Memories, with the date, place, and info.
I can likewise add the same document as a Source, but the process is more cumbersome.
I recently added a photo document to Sources, put in the title, description, etc. but when I click "view memory", none of the info carries over to Memories, and I have to put it all in again.
It would be a BIG improvement, if after adding a memory, to click an "add to sources" button. In other words, make the Adding Sources process easier.

You can already add a Memory as a source. On the source tab, click on "Add Source". Then in the drop down box, click on "Add a New Memory Source". You can then upload a new memory or select one from your gallery.

As proffered by 'Amy', once a "Memory" has been added, the "Memory" can ALREADY be "Attached" as a "Source".

I hope this helps.

I would often like to add a screen shot that proves a source exists. I began researching in 1952, and sometimes a source is from an old book. I have one right now that says the father had a son named Marcus. There is another document that supports this fact, and I added it to the father's documents because it listed clues for several of his sons. Then when I went to add it to the son, fearful that someone would remove him without looking carefully at all the sources for the father, it would not allow me to add it, because it was a "duplicate." I have searched to see how to add a photo or a document to more than one family member, but repeatedly I wind up defeated in finding the answer. [Also if a picture is placed with the wrong family member, it seems to be impossible to remove it.]
Making corrections to what has been done needs to be difficult,I suppose, but if someone is willing to get the evidence posted, more ability to do that has to be available? I have tried several times to find an article telling me info related to my question, but I come up with a blank each time. mwverde@gmail.com

If the image is in Memories, then you can tag it to the other person, instead of uploading it again.
Or, you can use or add a picture as a source. Go to the person's Sources page, click "Add Source", and choose "Add New Memory Source". Choose "Select from Gallery" to see all of the material you've uploaded to Memories; your screenshot should be there, probably right at the beginning of the list.

@LauraleeT1, as you can tell from the "LegacyUser" username, this is a two-year-old zombie thread. It was revived by a comment this evening from MWGreen, which I responded to.
