Size of familysearch tree and big tree

Would you consider providing us an update on the size or the tree and the big tree once a month when you show us the blog post on records indexed that month? Ron Tanner gave us that in his youtube videos if someone asked. I spend most of my genealogy time decreasing the size of the tree by merging duplicate parents so need some sense we are making progress to keep me enthused. It is not thrilling to feel the work I do, although important, is sending our numbers in the wrong direction. I appreciate it.​

Surely "People in the Family Tree" should be titled "IDs in Family Tree", to take into account the huge amount of duplicates and, to a much lesser degree, fictional characters?
