There is an invisible limit on comment length here

If your comment is too long, the Ideas forum will refuse to post it. What is the limit supposed to be? Since nothing is showing, it is just a matter of try and try and try while shortening the post content.


I know that we will only be here for a short while and putting work into evolving this User Interface is not justified, but at least if there was a maximum character count displayed, it would be useful

    'Yes', that would be helpful.

    I have had to "Split" some "Comments" into "Parts".

    A real pain; especially, when you may only be a few 'characters' over the limit.

    I just wish 'FamilySearch' did the same for ALL 'Fields', there for some; but, not for others.

    [ie. a Total 'Character' Count, that "Reduces" as you 'Type']
