Difference between No, No Extractable Data and not being able to read handwriting
We have noticed that many patrons do not understand the difference between not being able to read handwriting and No extractable Data. We wish there was a way to let them know in the beginning that if they cannot read the handwriting they should only return the batch. When they return the batch there should be an automatic or easier way for them to return a batch.
The information under Unreadable Information in the Project instructions read: Entire record. When all of the information in an entire record is unreadable, including the name, date, and any information for other required fields, to mark the record as Unreadable, press Ctrl+Shift+U.
- Entire image. If none of the information to be indexed on the image is readable, mark it in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data.
What I am trying to say is that there are indexers who do not know how to READ or may not be able to read handwriting. Somehow there should be a way to help them to return batches.

There is a way to return a batch you are unable to do or just don't want to do. I don't have the site in front of me or I would tell you how to do it. I would suggest that when you are on the indexing site, you click on the community help site and I'm sure any of the people there would be more than glad to explain to you how to do it. It is very easy to do.
