Reviewer Qualifications at Project Level

I appreciate that an Indexer must have 1000 indexes before being allowed to act as a Reviewer. However, I think the system should also require a minimum number of indexes on a project before one can do reviews on the project; regardless of the number of indexes performed on other projects. The point is that the instructions vary, project to project, and you do not fully understand the instructions until you have indexed on that project. I am aware for several people in my Stake who go straight to reviewing projects without first indexing from those projects, and as Stake Indexing Coordinator, I am concerned these people are not fully versed in the individual instructions for each new project. Given that the system can already prevent all reviewing until 1000 records have been completed as an indexer, it should be systematically possible to prevent reviewing on the project level until, say, 100 records have been indexed for that project.

What a great suggestion, that makes so much sense.

I completely agree. I suggested this to FamilySearch shortly after the release of the new online Indexing program when they were asking for feedback.
