I run into multiple entries everyday that have the correct date and/or place already in place, but I must update the record to get it to recognize a "standard" entry. It would be nice to have a script written to look at all records and those that are identical to existing standard information to be updated as standard entries. I spend a lot of time updating so the temple ordinances can be submitted.

    My best guess for how previously standardised events lost their standard is that it's something to do with the lost standard not being date appropriate. Checking the date adds an extra layer of complexity to your logical suggestion.


    I can only imagine that the reason they've not already done as you suggest, is that they've got their fingers badly burned through a clash between what they (and probably me) thought the data would be, and what it actually is.
