By the way ...
.
Make sure that you do your, 'Homework' (Research); and, check which is the correct set of Parents.
.
And ...
As an aside ...
.
Individuals/Persons certainly CAN have MORE than one set of Parents ....
.
Depending on the "Parent-Child" Relationship ...
.
In "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' there are currently x5 types of "Parent-Child" Relationship:
.
▬ Biological
▬ Adopted
▬ Step
▬ Foster
▬ Guardianship
.
Just some thoughts.

Brett makes an important point -- I have more than one set of parents in one of my ancestral lines. I suspect there are a number of them, especially where adoptions, guardianships, foster, and so on, are involved.
Those connections are important, since they make up a person's heritage.
When there are two sets of parents (both biological), then work from the child's record. In the family section you want to look at the child as a child (not a parent). If your display is wide enough, this will be the right side of the Family Section.
Go to the relationship that shows the child attached as a child to the wrong biological parents. Click on the icon that looks like a pencil and note and select remove the child. You'll be asked to confirm the action and then provide a reason for your action.

This is the absolutely xxx and absurd... This is why I will no longer participate to add information to family search...it is so difficult to change wrong information. So many people do not add correct documents, and you can't change. I will not contribute any further... so xxx.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
I am sorry to 'hear' that you will no longer be contributing to the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Question: WHAT, do you find "... absolutely stupid and absurd ... "?
Please explain.
Now ...
That Said ...
It is NOT difficult, to "Change", information, that may be incorrect.
It really is a matter of, learning; and, understanding, the "System" - that just takes, practice; and, experience.
But ...
That Said ...
'Yes', inexperienced Users/Patrons, DO NOT add, "Sources"; or, "Documents'; or, "Reason Statements" (with "Details"), to support their work.
Unfortunately ...
That is the, 'nature'; and, 'premise', of participating, in a SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us; where, we DO NOT have a "Tree", ONLY have "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" Lines), that are interconnected, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Just my thoughts.

Hi Brett,
I am finding incorrect parent when it needs to be the child. A child is a spouse to their father.... Anyways, I have been researching for 15 years and contribute often here and ongoing in Ancestery.com but I just find FamilySearch options to edit is not user friendly.
The instructions on the site if you have read it, is lengthy and for me does make any sense...
Thank you for your response.

Okay, some of us have much more time on our hands than others, but I very much agree with Julia's idea of trying to find the correct branch in which to place the couple who are not the parents of the child to which they have been attached.
Even within a relatively small geographical area there can be more than one couple of very similar identity - this doesn't necessarily even apply to common names (e.g. John Smith), as various cousins (with the same rarer surname) might have the same first names and passed "family" first names to their children, too.
I have spent several days in trying to sort out which children belonged to which parents - most recently with a HOCKING family of Cornwall, where (I believe) there were two William Hocking individuals living at the same time and in the same parish - and both married to an ANN and with children with the same first names, too.
It it very easy to find yourself rather busy and just remove a set of parents, but far better (for the future) to try to sort out the whole tangle at once - regardless that one family might have no obvious connection to yours, whatsoever.
In summary (and as has been advised), you are not looking for a "delete" option here, but to try to place each individual in their respective, correct branches within the wider tree. The whole ethos of Family Tree is based on collaboration between users, rather than it to be used just as a means of recording our "separate" family trees.
