Sealing to granparents when mother never married

Is there an easy way to seal a child to the grandparents when the mother never married? Attaching the child to the grandparents as a child causes heartburn for anyone not familiar with that rule.

Maybe an option visible only for those who can see temple ordinance options.....if the spouse option could be dismissed when those options are explored??
