FamilySearch: Is anybody listening to us?
Some weeks ago, we were assured that our posts were still being read, but there is little evidence of this, at present.
One of only two "replies" that have been headed "FamilySearch Response" contained incorrect advice. Many of the points raised in other posts contain serious issues that need to be addressed, but these are not being acknowledged or, apparently, resolved.
Reporting a matter to Support seems pointless, as invariably a "copy and paste" response seems to be provided. It seems rather hypocritical that the "collaboration" expected between FamilySearch / Family Tree users is not being extended any longer to involvement by its employees, as was the case (and much appreciated) in the GetSat forum.
If just one piece of advice can be offered by an employee, could it kindly be as to whether it is any longer worth reporting issues that require FamilySearch attention in "Ideas"?

'FamilySearch' (or, at least, someone there) MUST be 'listening' to us (ie. 'reading' these "Ideas') ...
.
I have had two (x2) of my last three (x3) posts, "Implemented.
.
They were requests to correct "Links" in "Knowledge Articles", certainly, nothing 'earthshattering'; and, easy to address/fix - which they were; and, I think the 'Middle' one has also been addressed/fixed - or, at least, it appears so; but, just the 'Status', has not "Changed" to "Implemented".
.
Oh, and, the "Idea" (ie. Post) prior to yours got a "Response" from 'FamilySearch'; BEFORE, I "Commented" - But, I suggest that that "Response" from 'FamilySearch' was from a "Support" 'Missionary' in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, rather than a, Programmer/Engineer; or, Product Manager.
.
So, in essence, in answer to your 'Question' ...
.
'Yes', I strongly suggest that 'FamilySearch' (or, at least, someone there) MUST be 'listening' to us (ie. 'reading' these "Ideas') - at least the "Support" 'Missionaries' in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
.
But ...
That said ...
.
Whereas, the Programmer/Engineers; or, the Product Managers, are just NOT always "responding" ... well, certainly, not as as they did (ie. the regular, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives" participating) in the OLD 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum ...
.
Just my thoughts.

ps: This TEMPORARY (Replacement) Platform is certainly not 'up to par' on the OLD one; and, as an aside, the "Size" (ie. the NUMBER of Characters) in the "Comments" Section is very LIMITED.
.
pps: Perhaps, they are all BUSY trying to get a NEW ("Full-Time" Replacement) Platform 'up and running'; as, this TEMPORARY one is a little too restrictive/limited.

Well at least you are continuing to read all the posts, Brett - and continue providing your helpful advice. What a disappointment that FamilySearch employees have lost interest in responding here to issues only they can help resolve.

Sorry, we got a little swamped with RootsTech. We are and shall be involved in watching over "Ideas". We are still getting our legs underneath us in regards to community and you should start seeing an increase in participation soon.
