When researching civil B/M/D records for Csongrád, Csongrád, Hungary, I find that the records are only accessible from 1895-1912. However, there are other films containing records for Csongrád, up to 1970, e.g.https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/619... .

Can you also see this image, or is it unavailable to you? If you can see the images are you asking that they be indexed, or are there other similar films?
Generally in the past FamilySearch has not displayed records for births unless they are at least 100 years old, so I don't know why this record is available, at least to some people.
I searched for film 005848311 in the catalog but "No results found". This seems strange, I thought all FamilySearch films were in the catalog.0 -
Mike Hollosi said: This is a marriage record from 1950. Yes I can view all the photos from this film, but I only stumbled on it accidentally.
For other towns in Hungary I have seen I have seen records of births until 1915, marriages up to 1950, deaths until 1975.
The point is like you say not all films are cataloged and browseable.
Specifically, there is a batch of films, between 5848292 and 5848323, that are not cataloged, and not connected to the country browser for Hungarian civil records https://www.familysearch.org/search/i...0 -

It would be best to use the "Errors?" tab at the bottom of the catalog page to report the omission of the batch of films 5848292 and 5848323.0 -
Juli said: Maureen: there are thousands of films that are online on FS but are listed in neither the catalog nor in a waypointed collection. Large portions of Csongrád and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county (Hungary) civil registrations are among them.
Mike: there exists a crowdsourced spreadsheet of these "found" film numbers. Here's one version on Google Docs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
(There is also an "anyone can edit" version which is larger, but I can't get my email to cough up the link, and I wouldn't necessarily want to post it quite this publicly anyway.)0 -
MaureenE said: If this was my field of interest I would be trying to get information about missing microfilms included in the FS Catalogue.
I would be sending all the information to FS Cataloguing/Records using the "Errors?" tab mentioned two posts above, including the link to the crowdsourced spreadsheet of "found" film numbers mentioned one post above.0 -
Paul said: But how can this be done when there is no record in the Catalog from which the "Errors?" link would be accessible? (i.e. the Errors? link is record specific - it does not relate to general errors and omissions in / from the Catalog as a whole.)0

Juli said: The latest index additions may qualify as "very new", but the collection itself is at least a decade old, probably older.0

Juli said: Since we don't know *why* these films aren't cataloged or waypointed, nobody in the Hungarian genealogy community has felt comfortable alerting FS to their existence: what if the response is to take them offline? That would be catastrophic for many of us.0
