Why so many good tools only on the mobile platform?

This are fantastic useful tools, but unfortunately on the more cramped platform. I guess it wouldn't be bad on a Chromebook, but on a mobile phone, the interface can get awkward.
Can we please see some effort toward making these resources available on the desktop?

gasmodels said: some of that is happening. In beta.familysearch.org the My Contributions feature is showing as the last link in the Family Tree drop down. Try it you will see what we expect to be released to Family Tree at some future time.0
