In a way I would like to know if my message had been read, but believe this might only add to my frustration in not being able to tell why I had not received a response!

3. I am prepared to not receive a response from the person. They have the choice to respond or not respond. Many times, they respond, indicating that they are beginners.

Also, they may not work with FamilySearch on a regular basis, so it may be months before they see my message.
