Problems in Finnish translations - missing icons and incomplete menus

Help question mark symbol is missing. Only way to access Help Center, Contact Us, Community... is to first click notification bell symbol, then open any notification, then the ?-mark will appear into its own place next to conversation symbol.


Family Tree menu is missing Antamani tiedot (My Contributions) and Viimeaikaiset (Recents) like also English page is missing.


Hae (Search) menu is missing Kirjat (Books) and Wiki (Research Wiki)

If I switch to Hungarian, the topmost menu consists of Családfa (Family Tree), Keresés (Search), and Emlékek (Memories). The menus for Indexing and Activities are entirely missing.

The weird thing is, I can go to, say, Indexing, and switch to Magyar. The content stays in English, but the header and footer change -- including removing the Indexing menu.

I don't know why Contributions is behaving as it is: it's there in the secondary top menu when you're in Family Tree, but it's not there in the drop-down.

(Recents is never in the drop-down, regardless of language, because it's a list itself, and FS has chosen not to implement any cascading or multi-level menus.)

Yes, I know that Recents are also not in English main pages. Before it belonged into Lists but the situation has changed I think because Lists is now called My Contributions. Even if I do not change anything in the person page, only just open it, it will appear into the Recents, I don't contribute anything. And in the main page it says: Recently Viewed People (not edited, added, deleted or contributed in any way).

Same thing with the Hae (Search) menu. After I select some page, in that page there are those missing menu items Kirjat (Books) and Wiki. Books and Wiki are not yet translated into Finnish but you still have an access to those pages.


Like you said Juli, Main menu is also missing Indexing and Activities, probably because they are not translated into Finnish yet. BUT still in the Finnish Main page there are Sukututkimustoiminnat (Activities) in the place where in English page there is now New Volunteer opportunity (earlier in this place also in English page there were a box for activities). When you click this Sukututkimustoiminnat, it will open the Family History Activities pages in English.


I think that in some places Finnish translation has been done for old English version and some places to the current version. Some times they have not added menus for pages that direct to the English pages (not yet translated) and some times there are those menus. And sometime they have forgotten to add menus that direct to the Finnish pages. Confusing!

Hi my name is Laura Chavarría from Nashville TN my question why in my family tree page where I can fine my reserved names for take to the Temple disappeared? I have like 900 family names and the Temple tools is not there any more and that happen because the family tree app doesn’t recognize my e. Mail si I change my password and then they said I’m lchavarria4 but I use to be lchavarria2 i hope you can help me please thank you !
