PLEASE make some way to back out of multiple changes if the person who made the changes admits they are a mistake. You can see what I mean by reviewing my case #

As it stands now, because of this mess on a line I worked hard for years on, to be so very messed up in one day without a reasonable fix, I don't feel comfortable taking time to add any further information to FamilySearch.

Firstly, "Welcome" to this "FamilySearch" ( "GetStaisfaction" ) 'Feedback' Forum.
Secondly, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.
Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).
Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.
Finally, 'Yes', something most of us would love ... that ability to go back to a specific 'Date' on the "ChangeLog"; and, "Return" to the specific "State" prior to that; and, any subsequent changes (ie. "Reverse" the "Changes").
Sounds, great; and, simple ...
But, I am certain that 'behind the scenes', it is much more complex, than we are aware and understand ...
"Merging" / "Combining" being one example where it would be complex.
So, sounds good; but, most likely impracticable.
Possible in some situations; but, not in others.
Regardless, I still love the idea/thought.
If it is possible; then, 'Yes', lets do it ...
