WHY are "Posts" DISAPPEARING from the (NEW) IDEAS Forum ( the "GetSatisfaction" replacement )!!!???
Title/Subject: WHY are "Posts" DISAPPEARING from the (NEW) IDEAS Forum ( the "GetSatisfaction" replacement )!!!???

Question: WHY are "Posts" DISAPPEARING from the (NEW) IDEAS Forum ( the "GetSatisfaction" replacement )?

So far:
.
(1) THREE (x3) of MY "Posts" in the (NEW) IDEAS Forum ( the "GetSatisfaction" replacement ) have DISAPPEARED; and,
(2) ONE (x1) of ANOTHER User/Patron has DISAPPEARED, from the (NEW) IDEAS Forum ( the "GetSatisfaction" replacement )!
.
I have the PROOF, the EVIDENCE, by way of "Screenshots"; but, I am having trouble adding those "Screenshots" to this post (due to File SIZE Limitations).
.
Can you please investigate; and, advise.

A LATER "Post" appearing AFTER a PREVIOUS "Post" ...

This "Post" SHOULD be ABOVE the TOP "Post" (which I posted a number of HOURS Earlier).
.
Something is DEFINETLY "Wrong"/"Astray" ...

Brett, try resorting your ideas. The sorted by link in the left corner defaults to popularity. You can change the sort to recent and you will likely see the ideas you think have disappeared.

I just 'twigged' to what was going on ...

Looks like when I "Duplicated" the IDEAS 'Tab', instead of the "Sort by" being "Recent" as it has been ALL Day, when it was "Duplicated" the "Sort by" CHANGE to "Popularity" ...
.
Really, a 'Trap' for the unwary - it is SO easy to miss/overlook.
.
What made matters WORSE is that a Number of ('Status') NEW "Posts" seemed to have "Disappeared" altogether.
.
I only noticed the problem/issue in the first place; because, I wanted to got back to another User's/Patron's "Post" to add a another "Comment", I was SHOCKED to find the OTHER User's/Patron's "Post" MISSING (as well as some of mine).
.
I thought that there were some 'shenanigans' going on ...
.
Phew ...
.
ALL GOOD, now ...
.

ps: Can I humbly suggest that the OLD ('Status') LEGACY "Posts" NOT get considered in the context of that "Sort by" ... "Popularity" ... I think that is WHY those ('Status') NEW "Posts" seemed to "Disappear" ... just my thoughts.

It appears that it may NOT have been when I "Duplicated" a 'Tab' ...

It NOW appears the "Sort By" CHANGED "Automatically" going BACK, from a "Post", to the IDEAS Forum (ie. List).
.
I just noticed this ...
.
Perhaps, the DEFAULT for the "Sort by" SHOULD always be "Recent"; and, there must be a "Physical" action by the User/Patron to CHANGE that to "Popularity".
.
Or, better still, GET RID of that "Popularity" altogether ...
.
Just my thoughts.

It appears that, BOTH,
▬ the "Duplication" of a 'Tab'; and,
▬ the going BACK, from a "Post", to the IDEAS Forum (ie. List)
are the 'culprits'
.
Doing EITHER "Automatically" CHANGES the "Sort By" from "Recent" to "Popularity".
.
And ...
.
The REASON that those certain ('Status') NEW "Posts" just seemed to DISAPPEAR is that they had NO [ie. "Zero" ("0")] "Points" [ ie. NO "Popularity" ].
I just noticed all this ...

Anything that causes a refresh of the page causes ALL defaults on the page to be reset (including all of the filter options). Easiest fix at the moment for the sort order is to just change the default as given in another topic here.
