FamilyTree's message input dialog just got broken!

This prevents users from being able to type via that message input box:
1) a greeting on it's own line ("Hello John, "), or
2) paragraphs in the message being separated by a blank line.
I have already "Sent" multiple messages having nothing but a greeting, because hitting "Enter" at the end of the greeting PREMATURELY SENDS the message!
If you type your entire msg in another editor and then paste it into the message the window will accept that; but this is a cumbersome work-around.
(Even this input dialog window in this support area of FamilySearch will accept "Enter" as a line break without closing and uploading the msg! You have to click on "Post" when your msg is done; this is as it should be.)

The other problem with this box is it is too small. If I want to send 3 or 4 short paragraphs the box is touchy. Can family search make the box bigger and not touchy. This would make it easier to input and proof the document before sending it.0 -

Spot on.
I have been 'preparing' my "Messages" in a "Text Editor" (usually 'NotePad") for so long, I would have not noticed this.
'Yes', you are certainly CORRECT ...
That NEEDS to be addressed/fixed ...
FYI
As an aside ...
I just did some "Testing" ...
If you, 'Hold Down' the 'Shift' Key; and, 'Press' the 'Enter' Key at the SAME time, that WILL give you a NEW Line or Paragraph, WITHOUT sending the 'Message'.

I do not disagree ...
But ...
That said ...
The "Text Box" DOES "Expand" as you "Type" (or, "Paste In" a 'prepared' "Message").
That 'Image' seems to be the SIZE of the "Text Box", once "Expanded", to what appears to be the MAXIMUM extent.
But, even after the MAXIMUM extent is reached, there is a "Slider" on the 'right-hand-side'; so, you can keep "Typing" ...
==========
I hope this helps.

Thank you for your feedback and excitement for FamilySearch Messaging. We have set the [Enter] key back to creating a new line instead of SENDing the message. I hope FamilySearch Messaging helps to not only coordinate research efforts but to engage and encourage other family members to participate in this great work. Please take advantage of the "New Message" button and invite others into FamilySearch via FamilySearch Messaging. Sharing memories as part of the discussion could be an easy way to engage family members who are just beginning their experience with FamilySearch.

Success, we are being LISTENED to; well, in somethings, by some, at least.

ps: Not that you want it; but, you should get the credit for raising this problem/issue ...
