Need indexing field for parents in Wisconsin marriage records

Betty Ann Grimes said: Indexing: Wisconsin Marriage records in 1870's include parents of bride and groom. It would be great to have a field to record this information.

    What better way to confirm you have correctly identified an individual, especially when there are two persons of very similar identity. Providing FamilySearch have the permission, the project instructions should always allow for parents to be indexed, too.

    Unfortunately, it seems impossible to communicate with any person of authority from the FS indexing section and, apart from one brief period, these employees have never participated in this forum.
